All about Eddie
Eddie is a professional photographer based in South London where he has lived for most of his life
He specialises in low light photography, and live portraiture and these combined with his passion for jazz, enables him to take unique images of many jazz artists during live performances.
He uses a DSLR for most of his work, however he derives a lot of satisfaction producing black and white images using monochromatic film which he develops and prints himself. Most of his black and white portraits have been produced in this way, and he believes this gives them a special quality.
He has spent some time in Ghana, where he compiled a series illustrating every day street life, from fishermen mending their nets, to spontaneous and colourful parades, and much more. He particularly enjoyed capturing ordinary people going about their daily lives.
